I love the
sound of wind in the trees and the serene silence of the
woods on a windless day. I want to share with you some
of my photos of trees, along with the following poem by
Rengetsu
that mirrors some of my own feelings.

In
this mountain village, I have grown accustomed
To listen to the voices only of the trees,
So when the pines are silent, then I am lonely,
On days when there blows no breeze.
