Surrounded by hundreds of thousands of acres of peach, plum, nectarine, cherry, apricot, apple and almond orchards just outside of Clovis in Fresno County, the world-famous Blossom Trail is about 70 miles long and full of the most striking blossoms from the middle of February through March.

Story continued below.

Every year, Blossom Trail brings so much joy and beauty to the locals as well as many visitors, with billions of beautiful clusters of white, pink, and red flowers from the many varieties of trees in full bloom.

Approaching either from the north or south, on Highway 99, take the Jensen Avenue exit and drive east. You will see signs saying "Blossom Trail" that will guide you on your driving tour. You may wish follow the trail according to the official map of Blossom Trail published by the Fresno County Tourism Bureau. Or just follow those white, pink, and red blossoms as your eyes and nose guide you. Either way you will have a beautiful drive. There are also many patches of wild flowers along the Blossom Trail.

Don't forget to pack a camera, lunch or snacks, and drinks.

Take your time to enjoy the breathtaking viewbeautiful flowers, aromatic fragrances, and colorful butterflies, bees, and birds.
