Do you enjoy knitting? Would you like to meet new friends? Has it been a while since you knitted? Don't worry; someone will be there to help!

Come view the works of local artists on the 1st Thursday of every month! 5:00-8:00pm. Admission is free and refreshments will be provided.

Saturday, Feb. 4th --Chapel of Four Chaplains
Inter-Faith Observance Honoring Four Heroic Chaplains aboard the USAT Dorchester, where they along with 665 other military personnel paid the supreme sacrifice. This event is being sponsored by the American Legion 14th District.

Saturday, Feb. 4th -- Fresno Tzu Chi, 2012 New year's Blessing
Tzu Chi Foundation-Fresno is celebrating 2012 New Year’s Blessing to express our appreciation for all the community support and the selfless giving from donors and volunteers. We also want to reflect on the global and local services in 2011 as well as plans for the future. Cost: FREE

Tuesday, Feb. 7th -- Knitwits Knitting Club of Clovis
This group of knitters has been meeting at the Clovis Library for about 4 years. Many of the items they create are donated to local shelters and charities. All are welcome, from beginners to advanced knitters. If you don't know how to knit they will teach you! Those who crochet are welcome as well!

Join the Spider Lady, Judy Johnson, as she educates you on Wilbur's spider friends in honor of the 60th Anniversary of Charlotte's Web. Then bring your camera to take a photo with one of Wilbur's new friends, Kit the Fox, following the program. Limited space, so you must pre-register at the branch.

Saturday & Sunday, Feb. 11 & 12 -- Madera Wine Trail's "Wine & Chocolate Weekend"
The Madera Vintners Association’s family wineries are proud to present the Madera Wine Trail’s “Wine and Chocolate Weekend” on February 11 and 12, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Celebrate Valentine’s Day with your loved one and friends as you enjoy the award-winning wines of the Madera Wine Trail! On this special weekend, guests will enjoy wine tasting at 10 wineries, live music, local art, chocolates and delicious food! Tickets are available in advance for $25. For those who cannot purchase in advance, tickets will be available the weekend of the event at all wineries for $35. A Walk Through the NARA Website for Genealogists
Join speaker Kelsey Stewart as she demonstrates how to navigate the National Archives and Records Administration web site to find genealogy resources. Attendees may bring a record or question, and, time permitting, she'll try to find records listing their ancestors.

Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday, February 14th, 15th, 16th -- The 45th Annual World Ag Expo 2012, "Growing World Agriculture"
Located in California’s Central Valley, 45 miles south of Fresno and 60 miles north of Bakersfield, just off Highway 99. Airfields are located in Tulare, Visalia, Fresno and Bakersfield.
World Ag Expo is the largest annual agriculture exposition celebrating 45 years of innovative agriculture with:
1,600 exhibitors displaying the latest in farm equipment, chemicals, communications, and technology on 2.5 million square feet of exhibit space.
Free seminars on a variety of topics important to dairy producers, farmers, ranchers and agribusiness professionals.
Cooking demonstrations by chefs from California’s top restaurants in the World Ag Women Pavilion.
