It is not unusual to see blooming camellias,
wild violets, ranunculus, freesias, anemones,
daffodils, and many other flowering plants in
many backyards around the Central Valley in the
middle of February. Spring comes earlier here
than in many other planting zones. We were lucky
to have many sunny days in February while many
parts of the country have been buried under the
snow. Many bulb flowers thrive in this climate
-- sunny and cool during the days and cold but
seldom freezing at nights.
I would like to share with you a few photos of
my spring flowers from my garden. Enjoy!
