Three CUSD
Employees Nominated for Fresno County
Educator of
the Year Program
Posted on August 1, 2011 |
Each year
the Fresno County Office of Education (FCOE) publicly
recognizes outstanding achievements of Fresno County
teachers, school administrators and school employees
through its Fresno County Educator of the Year Program.
Clovis
Unified, along with all the school districts in Fresno
County, is invited to nominate an outstanding
classified, certificated and administrative candidate to
represent the district in the Educator of the Year
Program. This year, a subcommittee of Classified
Unit/Business Support (CUBS) Senators was charged with
selecting a classified employee as its nominee for 2011
School Employee of the Year. The executive board of
Faculty Senators chose a certificated employee as CUSD’s
nominee for 2011 Teacher of the Year. In addition, the
superintendent’s cabinet members selected their nominee
for 2011 Administrator of the Year. All three nominees
exemplify the highest standard of service to the
district.
Congratulations to the following nominees from Clovis
Unified:
School Employee of the Year – Nancy “Tita” Majors,
student activities specialist II, Buchanan High School |
 |
|
Teacher of the Year – Daphne J. Johnson,
kindergarten teacher, Valley Oak Elementary School
|
 |
|
Administrator of the Year – Norm Anderson,
Principal, Clovis North Educational Center
