NEW   

NEW      Fundamental Tai Chi Forms for Life!

How do you exercise not only your body, but your Mind as well? Tai Chi! How do you help avoid illness, perhaps slow aging, while increasing longevity and enjoy a healthy lifestyle? Tai Chi! This fascinating class teaches basic Tai Chi patterns for hand movements, major footwork and stances, while connecting all with Yin and Yang philosophy and traditional Chinese medicine. The student will acquire a solid understanding of the theory and practical skills of Tai Chi and will be prepared to move on to advanced Tai Chi. Doctor Margaret Zeng has over 20 years experience in Tai Chi, Qigong, herbal medicine and acupuncture. She also teaches and administers these arts and sciences at her Fresno clinic.

NEW  Japanese No-Impact Aerobics

Learn this simple exercise routine that anyone can do, even those in a wheel chair, to help improve your cardiovascular health, brain health and memory, balance and coordination, and even help reduce chronic pain. Dr. Campise will teach you all 16 parts of the five-minute routine as we practice each class. You will be able to use it each day at home to improve and maintain your physical health. Optional DVD video will be available for $10.

Pilates – Level I

Pilates movements develop many components of physical fitness including strength, flexibility, coordination, speed, agility, endurance, balance, and posture.  Numerous benefits can provide a solution to those with restricted mobility while improving performance in the elite athlete.  This class will introduce and apply all principles of Pilates that will result in you feeling conditioned, more flexible, and relaxed. Students will need a yoga mat.

Physical Conditioning

Men and Women can enjoy this physical conditioning class designed to improve one’s mind and body fitness through cardio vascular routines, floor exercise, weight resistance, and stretching—all done to motivational music. Our instructor has been teaching fitness classes for over thirty years in health clubs, physical education college courses, and at Castle Air Force base.

Yoga – Back Care

Ouch! 80% of us may have lower back aches from illness, injury, or body posture. Simple, but powerful ancient yoga poses can protect your back and improve circulation. Stretching and strengthening the spine area can de-stress the mind and body tensions. Bring your mat, a willingness to relax, and allow the breath to nourish and soothe your aching back. Class will not be held 6/9 and 6/14.

Cardio/Karate Fitness 
Learn cardio-vascular fitness along with traditional karate for enhanced conditioning and self-defense! Sensei Melillo has over 35+ years experience and has a 2nd degree black belt in Kenpo Karate. Join us and become a better you-in confidence and fitness. learn techniques in self defense and when and how to apply them! get in shape with an intense cardio routine involving some of the techniques you learn in karate. Bring a towel, water, and small, light hand held weights.

Body Sculpting – Beginning
Lose weight and keep it off with resistance training. Develop lean body mass and decrease fatty tissue by implementing the proper workout using hand-held weights, equipment type exercises and weight training circuits. Bring light hand-held weights, plenty of water, a towel and mat. Class is limited to 22, so register early.
