Basic Guitar for Blues Players
This is not a class of just chords and scales, learn to play guitar in a way that is both fun and informative. The course will also include left hand drills and finger picking. Bring your guitar and a desire to love it to your first class meeting. The instructor has been a blues player for fifty years, and has performed professionally. Join him as he shares his years of knowledge and personal enjoyment with you!

   Community Band – A Variety of Music
Get that old instrument out of the closet or attic and start making music.  The band plays a variety of music from orchestral transcriptions and Sousa marches, to waltzes, polkas, rags and pop.  No auditions.  Performances are scheduled at various community and civic events throughout the Fresno/Clovis area.  This class has open enrollment year-round. You may register in class with the instructor Tuesday nights at 6:00pm at Clark Intermediate Band Room (902 Fifth St).

Piano – Beginning
You can learn to play the piano even if you have never touched a keyboard. Mrs. Beatty is a certified piano teacher. Class fee does not include books.  Class is limited to 12 students.

The Simple Secrets of Harmonica Playing
Ever wanted to boogie down on the harmonica? Join us in learning to play by ear the basics of harmonica tunes. The ability to read music is not necessary. We will progress from blues chords to single note playing. Robert Amaya has been playing the harmonica for 36 years and has acquired a wide repertoire of tunes encompassing the Louisiana blues, classical, easy listening, and Latin inspired. Course requirement: must purchase own diatonic blues harmonica, key of C.
